Vantara Theme Beautification – In a major step towards beautifying the city, Reliance Industries has taken charge of redeveloping the Town Hall Circle in the heart of Jamnagar. The transformation will be based on the theme of Vantara – a vision inspired by wildlife, nature, and conservation.
The existing fountain in the circle, located right in front of the iconic Town Hall building, has been neglected for years. With no maintenance or updates from the municipal authorities, the area lost its charm. Now, Reliance Industries has stepped forward to make this spot attractive once again.
What Will Change?
Under this project, the fountain will be removed and replaced with grand sculptures of lions and other wild animals, showcasing the essence of Vantara – a term that represents the forest and wildlife. Decorative lighting, safety features, improved road alignment, and landscaping will also be part of the development. According to officials, the redesign will be carried out while ensuring smoother traffic flow, as the current circle causes congestion during peak hours.

The project is estimated to cost several lakhs of rupees. However, Reliance Industries will bear the entire expense and work in coordination with the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation.
Why Vantara?

Reliance’s newly launched Vantara initiative aims to promote wildlife conservation, nature awareness, and responsible tourism. By using this theme in the city’s central circle, Reliance intends to bring nature closer to urban life while adding aesthetic value to the area.
This project also aligns with Reliance’s long-standing commitment to community service and local development in the Jamnagar district. The company has consistently worked on village development and public welfare initiatives since its establishment in the region.
Approval and Execution
The proposal to redesign the Town Hall Circle was submitted to Municipal Commissioner D.N. Modi and was approved on the very first day. City Engineers Bhavesh Jani and Rajiv Jani, along with officials from Reliance Industries, inspected the location and finalized the design plan. Construction work has already started and is expected to be completed within six months.
A New Landmark for Jamnagar
With the Town Hall already renovated recently, this new wildlife-themed circle will add further beauty to the city’s center. In the coming days, the Vantara Circle is expected to become a major attraction not just for residents, but also for visitors to Jamnagar.
This development signals a new chapter in Jamnagar’s urban beautification, blending nature with modern design – all thanks to the efforts of Reliance Industries.
